If you've been feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from yourself, you're not alone. This space is an invitation to slow down, take a moment for yourself and be met with care. My work in therapy is rooted in the power of human connection, compassion, and emotional safety. Supporting you as you slow down, understand your experiences, and reconnect to yourself with more care and compassion.

 

About Jaslin Boparai

I work closely with emotions, lived experiences, and how they are held within the body. I believe that our experiences, including memories, feelings and emotions, are not only something we think about, but something we carry. When these experiences go unprocessed or unsupported, they can lead to feeling disconnected from yourself, stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of who you are.

My work supports you in reconnecting with yourself, your body, your emotions, and your inner world at a pace that feels safe and gradual. This can include exploring patterns that show up in your life, understanding how past or early experiences may still be impacting you, and bringing awareness to how emotions are held within the body. Together, we create space to be with your emotions, understand what they may be communicating, and process the emotions while meeting them with care and compassion.

I work with individuals from many different backgrounds, each bringing their own experiences, challenges and ways of understanding themselves.

​

At the core of my work is a focus on emotion and lived experiences, and how they are processed, held, and understood. This can include things like childhood experiences, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, or struggles with self-worth and your relationship with yourself.

​

A big part of this work is learning gently to turn towards all parts of yourself, including the parts that feel difficult to hold, hide, or fully accept, while also connecting with the parts that feel more easeful. The aim is to create space for all parts of you and remember the core of our humanity. We are taught to hide certain parts of ourselves, and we can look into where that conditioning comes from, the systems and beliefs that shape our way of thinking and being.​

My approach is relational and body-based, drawing from psychodynamic, humanistic, mindfulness-based, and emotion-focused frameworks. We work together to gently explore your emotions, patterns, and inner experiences, while bringing awareness to how these are held within the body.
